AQV Aqua Harvest - Water Harvesting

We have developed proprietary, high-volume, sustainable, atmospheric water harvesting solutions to support the water supply, and irrigation needs of countries around the globe.
Our harvesting technologies have the ability to deliver life altering, water supply in some of the most water-stressed areas faced with a water crisis and where rainwater harvesting is less than sustainable.
Our hydrological water cycle technology produces water at a rate up to 90% less energy required than alternative Water Treatment Equipment technologies.
We are the true rainmakers!
No matter where you are, you've surely experienced the muggy, heavy feeling that fills the air.
When people are troubled by humidity, they're often speaking about the percentage of vapor in the air referred to as relative humidity. Everywhere, every day around the world, moisture rises into the atmosphere in the form of water vapor. In fact, at 76 F, each cubic foot of air can contain approximately .00084 lbs. of water. Each one million cubic feet of air can generate up to 840 lbs. of water every minute when the water is harvested by our technology.
Depending on temperature, air can hold a fixed amount of water vapor; relative humidity is the ratio of actual vapor in the air to this fixed amount. For example, at a temperature of 68 degrees Fahrenheit (20 degrees Celsius), one cubic meter (35 cubic feet) of air can hold about 18 grams (.6 ounces) of water. This would be a state of saturation, otherwise known as 100 percent relative humidity.
Water atmospheric harvesting functions best between 30% and 100% relative humidity.
AQV Aqua Harvesting is the process of employing multiple air intake sources for collecting air from the surrounding area. Moisture is drawn into the proprietary water-wall purification system; the purified water harvested is then transferred to our proprietary dehumidification systems for collection. As the air passes through, moisture is drawn to contact with the dehumidifier's cooled coils. These coils use condensation to extract harvested water from the air. The collected moisture remains on the coils, then gathers into the water harvester's holding tank where it is again purified, then transferred to the system holding tanks for distribution.
Currently, over 16,000 desalination plants exist globally, producing over 25 billion gallons of water Each desalination plant costs from $100M to over $4B (USD).
Based solely on the power consumption, over $34 billion (USD) is estimated to be spent annually on desalination power requirements. Our proprietary indirect desalination technologies harvest and provide clean, desalinated water at approximately 90% less power consumption. Best of all, our technology does not require heating or cooling of the water!
Countries are actively seeking alternatives to outdated desalination technologies, which are driving the cost of water to unacceptable levels.
Many countries such as India, Egypt, UAE, Morocco, Saudi Arabia, and others have established water security budgets to invest hundreds of millions on new water production technologies.
We are prolific innovators in the development of proprietary technology solutions that extract potable water from the atmosphere, which addresses the water crisis of epic proportions that is gripping our planet. Over 2 billion people do not have access to safe drinking water, and billions more are estimated to be consuming water contaminated by pollution and waste. A diminishing volume of fresh groundwater resources are available to be tapped for drinking water.
In fact, our AQV invention team currently holds over 240 global patents, and over 120 U.S. Patents.
Water is essential to life, yet over 2.1 billion people in the world; 2 in 10 - lack access clean drinking water. According to the World Economic Forum, the water crisis is the #5 global risk in terms of impact to society.
What countries are running out of water? There are 22 countries listed in the category of suffering from extremely high baseline water stress – Egypt, Qatar, Israel, Lebanon, Jordan, Libya, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Eritrea, United Arab Emirates, San Marino, Bahrain, Mexico, Brazil, India, Pakistan, Turkmenistan, South Africa, Oman and Botswana.
The trade of water is estimated to be one of the top 5 most lucrative businesses by the year 2030.
AQV Aqua Harvest is designed and engineered to continue operating under the most extreme environmental pressures.
While a minimum humidity of 30% is recommended, customized solutions are available with cooling and our proprietary indirect seawater desalination™
Our atmospheric water harvesting works on all types of power supply. Our solar powered systems can operate as stand-alone systems in deeply rural areas.
We are an intensely private business working on secret technologies every day. Our team is highly focused on protecting and preventing the inventions we create from entering the public domain.
